“Crazy Maker” / krāzē mākər / n.
a person who makes crazy in an organization, group, or in another person’s life.
…. that’s my definition.
There are moments when I’ll tell my kids to stop being crazy makers. You know the moments… when they pick on each other to simply pick on each other. You know, when parenting gets really hard – like the HARDEST. As you maneuver through fighting kids, lunch needs to be made (or is burning), the phone rang – you missed the call… and you have 6 texts to reply to… oh and you have to be at a meeting in 20 minutes.
Oh, but you can’t relate to that… THAT only happens in our house.
Lesley had an amazing moment the other day. God spoke [almost audibly] through one of our kids. And it immediately calmed the storm of crazy in the house.
Bottom line… this season is crazy. You know why? The enemy does his best to make crazy instead of calm. When things are crazy we are looking at everything BUT the person who makes the crazy stop. I’ll tell you who isn’t a crazy maker…. Jesus.
Try your hardest to not join the “crazy” of Christmas. Don’t be a crazy maker…. or a crazy “joiner”.
